djMudra, aka Irena Spiral, is one of the co-founders of IDSpiral.
She satisfies her passion for creative expression and heart-felt support for artists with her daily dedicated work within IDSpiral.
Feeling truly Blessed to co-create this big playground with all her favorite rides, she is more than Happy to share and spread the Joys of Life she has learned to recognize on her diverse life path.
Music is one of the ways she loves reaching out with....and she is known to touch those places in peoples hearts, minds, bodies and souls that need a-wakening.
For her music is powerful means to send messages of deep healing to the individual, and with that the world and beyond.
The whole World is a Temple and every action matters to the Whole.
She loves doing her best to bring balance to the senses with the music she feels,knows and plays - with every set being presented on a devotional alter with deep intentions.

Realizing that while mixing her hand postures became mudras, her DJ name Mudra was a realization of simple synchronicity, meaningful to her understanding of interconnectedness.
Literaly translated 'Mudra' in Eastern philosophy and practices means "gesture","hand pose","seal","stamp","energy seal","physical,mental and psychic attitude which expresses and channels cosmic energy within mind and body."
Mudras represent the transmission of a specific empowerment,which activates that principle within
In the Yoga tradition,mudras are a way of holding the prana(breath) within the body in a beneficial way as well as healing,cleaning and activating spiritual release.
Mudras are also a way of expressing feelings and conveying meanings such as devotion,charity,knowledge and courage.When used during meditation,these different positions connect various electrical circuits of the body.
For her all of these seem to make sense in her everyday life,where music,playing and dancing are her most favorite meditations
In her native Macedonian language "Mudra" means Wise Woman...which she humbly bows to and strives for.

Born in Skopje,Macedonia she was raised in a family with Communist, Orthodox and Buddhist influences.
This helped her to except every point of view,and see yin and yang as one!
She trained Rhythmic Gymnastics from the age of 6 and for a decade this helped her self expression through dance with discipline and serious training.
She trained to live piano music, which paved the way for her love for classical music.
Growing up in Skopje she was open to lots of styles from the traditional,tribal,gipsy to punk,rock,pop,funk ....she had a special place for David Bowie,Iggy Pop,Lou Reed,David Syllvian and The Cure,Joy Division,Nick Cave,Cocteau Twins,Dead Can Dance...The Clash
Skopje held an International Jazz Festival once a year,where she was happy to satisfy her wonderius musical appetite.
The live jazz jams were full of energy,full power trance experience at times.
While still in Forma Yugoslavia she discovered underground,experimental,industrial sounds coming from Germany.
A band's name she could never pronounce(Einstuerzende Nebauten) was making music from anything they could find in derelict warehouses,which was very inspiring,liberating and empowering for her young spirit.
Coming to London at the age of 19 in 1990 she proceeded to the biggest serving of diverse club culture sounds and decadence.
She discovered the likes of Kraftwerk,The Orb,Brian Eno,Future Sounds of London,Massive Attack,Lamb,Bjork,Thievery Corporation.... and she went to House, Techno, Hard Core, Drum and Bass,Hip-Hop clubs.
John Peel was "god sent" radio dj she always looked forward to hearing...Thank You London!
And then Trance music got her deeper and deeper into the Wonder...dissolving...until she re-gathered all of her universe's possibilities, now mixing well under the wide spanning name of "Ambient Music", completely expanding body,mind and soul.
Here she found all the tools to play through all the tides, from gentle to rising,with all her styles gently meeting and weaving her stories...to share
